Accessibility Statement

Last updated: May 25, 2026

The Potomac Ledger is committed to making this site and newsletter usable by the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We treat accessibility as part of doing this well, not as an afterthought.

01

The Standard We Work Toward

We aim to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. WCAG 2.1 AA is widely recognized as the practical bar for accessible web content and is referenced by U.S. federal accessibility regulations.

02

What We Do

03

Known Gaps

We do not yet have a formal third-party audit on file. We are working through the WCAG 2.1 AA criteria ourselves and updating pages as we go. If something does not work for you, please tell us using the contact below — reports from real readers are the most useful signal we get.

04

Third-Party Content

Some functions rely on third parties — email delivery (Brevo), payment processing (Stripe), and hosting (Netlify). We choose providers with accessibility commitments where we can, but we do not control their interfaces directly. If a specific third-party element (such as the checkout page) is blocking you, let us know and we will help you find an accessible path to the same outcome.

05

Contact & Feedback

If you encounter a barrier or need an accommodation to access our content, please email newsletter@potomacledger.com with the subject line "Accessibility feedback." We aim to respond within two business days. If your request is time-sensitive, say so and we will prioritize it.

A Note on This Statement

This statement reflects our current effort and standards. It is not a representation that every page meets WCAG 2.1 AA at every moment, but it is a genuine commitment to work toward that bar and to fix issues we are made aware of.
